Alexia Dempsey

She takes a warm, person-centred approach, supporting women and men to feel more confident and in control of their health at every life stage.
Alexia has a special interest in women’s health, with a particular focus on peri- and menopause support, fertility, pre-conception and pregnancy nutrition as well as Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS)- formally PCOS. She has undertaken specialist training in Fertility, pre-conception, and Pregnancy nutrition as well as peri- and post-menopause nutrition. She is also a certified fertility dietitian and is completing the BMS certification.
Alexia works with women experiencing insulin resistance, hormonal changes and imbalance, irregular cycles, weight concerns, fatigue, cravings, and metabolic health using evidence-based, realistic nutrition strategies. Her approach is never restrictive or one-size-fits-all, instead, she focuses on tailored support that fits each individual’s body, lifestyle, and goals.
She also has specialist training and extensive experience in supporting disordered eating, ensuring her care is always compassionate, non-judgemental, and sensitive to the emotional and psychological aspects of eating and body image.
She works closely with our Women’s Health Specialist GPs at Wimbledon Medical Service, providing a holistic approach to women’s health. Together, we address each individual’s concerns by combining medical, nutritional, and lifestyle interventions. This integrated support is designed to help women optimise their health and wellbeing through every stage of life.
Alexia also sees male clients and has extensive experience supporting them with a collaborative, empowering approach, grounded in realistic, achievable change.
Whether supporting someone who is trying to conceive, navigating hormonal transitions, managing changes in body weight, or improving their relationship with food, Alexia aims to help her clients feel heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools for long-term health and wellbeing.
