WHY WOMEN COME TO US
Time to be heard, and care built around you.
Menopause is one of the most significant transitions a woman will go through, and having the right support can make a real difference. With dedicated time, specialist expertise, and a personalised approach, women can feel informed, understood, and confident in managing their symptoms and long-term health.
Because every woman's experience is different, finding the right treatment approach may involve adjusting and refining options together to determine what works best for the individual.
At our private menopause clinic on Church Road, we do things differently. We offer the time to be properly heard, up-to-date evidence-based care, and a personalised approach tailored to each woman's experience. With continuity of care and ongoing support, we can monitor progress together and make informed adjustments over the months and years that follow.
Whether you're managing the first signs of perimenopause, weighing up HRT, or looking for a second opinion, our doctors will take the time to look at the whole picture.
We see women at every stage of menopause, presenting with a wide variety of symptoms. Below are the ones we hear most often — but a long-standing or unusual symptom you've never quite been able to pin down is also a good reason to come in.

Treatments & our approach
An individualised plan, built around you.
Every experience of menopause is unique, which is why we create an individualised treatment plan built around your symptoms, preferences and priorities.
Comprehensive consultations
Comprehensive consultations including initial HRT assessment, ongoing review and switching regimens where needed. Prescribing follows NICE and British Menopause Society (BMS) guidance, with a preference for body-identical HRT where clinically appropriate. Every option is explained in detail — risks, benefits and alternatives laid out clearly, so the choice is yours.
Symptom-led care
HRT can be highly effective and often forms an important part of care when it can be used safely. Alongside it, we support women with non-hormonal options, vaginal symptom care, bone health and lifestyle advice. We also consider low mood and anxiety as part of the wider hormonal picture.
Tests & investigations
Where useful, we arrange the right tests through our clinic, including hormone blood levels and other blood tests. We recommend investigations where they genuinely add value and help guide the best treatment approach for you.
Ongoing menopause management
Menopause isn't a single event; it's a transition that often spans years. We offer continuity of care so the same specialist reviews your progress, adjusts your dose, and adapts your plan over time.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What happens in your consultation?
Every consultation follows a simple structure designed to give clarity and continuity.
Before your appointment
A short menopause symptom questionnaire is sent ahead so the specialist can prepare. Bring any previous test results, HRT prescriptions or letters from prior specialists. A rough symptom diary, even one kept on your phone, is useful.
During your visit
A full discussion about your symptoms, medical history and treatment preferences. Where appropriate, consultations can include blood pressure checks, BMI assessment, gynaecological examination, and blood tests on the day. Options are explained in detail before deciding on a plan together
After your visit
If follow-up tests, referrals or treatment are required, we'll explain the next steps, timelines and options — and arrange any review appointments to monitor how your plan is working.
