Private GP and medical service

1. IntroductionWimbledon Medical Service is a trading name of The Family Treatment Service Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, with company number 09859480.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of medical services by The Wimbledon Medical Service (“we”, “us”, “our”) to patients (“you”, “your”). By booking or attending an appointment, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services ProvidedWe offer a variety of medical consultations and treatments, including private general practitioner (GP) consultations, assessments, prescriptions, referrals, as well as menopause advice and treatments, gynaecological appointments and related healthcare services. Our services are not intended to replace emergency care or NHS services where appropriate.

3. Appointments

  • Appointments must be booked in advance via our approved channels.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when booking.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments in unforeseen circumstances.

4. Fees and Payment

  • All services are chargeable unless otherwise stated.

  • Fees will be clearly communicated prior to booking.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

  • Additional charges may apply for tests, prescriptions, or referrals.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged in full.

6. Patient Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate medical history and relevant information.

  • You are responsible for following medical advice and prescribed treatments.

  • You must seek emergency care when necessary; our service is not for urgent or life-threatening conditions.

7. Prescriptions and Referrals

  • Prescriptions are issued at the clinician’s discretion.

  • Certain medications may not be prescribed under private care.

  • Referrals to specialists or further investigations may incur additional costs.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.

  • Your personal and medical information will be kept confidential and only shared when necessary for your care or where legally required.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We provide services with reasonable care and skill.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
