Good nutrition is about far more than following a diet. It plays a fundamental role in hormonal health, fertility, metabolic wellbeing, healthy ageing and the prevention and management of many medical conditions.

DIETITIAN SERVICES

Dietetic support

At Wimbledon Medical Service, our Registered Dietitian provides evidence-based nutritional advice that is personalised to your health, lifestyle and goals. Every consultation is designed to help you understand your body, make realistic changes and build habits that support long-term wellbeing.

Whether you're managing a specific medical condition, navigating hormonal changes or simply looking to improve your health, you'll receive practical, compassionate support without judgement or restrictive approaches.

Why See a Registered Dietitian?

With so much conflicting nutrition advice available, it can be difficult to know what is right for you.

A Registered Dietitian is a regulated healthcare professional trained to use nutrition as part of medical care. Rather than offering generic meal plans or fad diets, we provide individualised recommendations based on the latest scientific evidence, your medical history and your personal circumstances.

At Wimbledon Medical Service, dietetic care is delivered as part of our wider multidisciplinary team, allowing nutritional advice to be integrated with your GP care whenever appropriate.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Areas we can help with

Our dietitian supports adults across a wide range of health
concerns, including:

  • Women's health, including PCOS, perimenopause and menopause

  • Digestive health, including IBS

  • Metabolic health, including insulin resistance, pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes

  • High cholesterol and cardiovascular health

  • Healthy ageing and long-term wellbeing

  • Nutritional optimisation to support overall health

  • Weight management

Every recommendation is grounded in the latest scientific evidence and tailored to your individual needs, preferences and lifestyle.

  • Women's Health Expertise

Women's nutritional needs change throughout life, from planning a pregnancy through to menopause and beyond.

Our dietitian has particular expertise in supporting women experiencing hormonal changes, irregular cycles, insulin resistance, weight concerns and the nutritional challenges that accompany peri-menopause and menopause.

Working closely with our Women's Health GPs, we provide coordinated care that combines medical expertise with personalised nutrition, helping you feel supported at every stage of life.

  • Fertility & Pregnancy Nutrition

Nutrition can play an important role before conception, throughout pregnancy and during the postnatal period.

Whether you are trying to conceive naturally, preparing for fertility treatment or looking to optimise your nutrition during pregnancy, we provide evidence-based advice tailored to your individual circumstances.

Our aim is to help you feel informed, confident and supported throughout your journey.

  • Support for Men

Nutrition is equally important for men's health.

Our dietitian works with male patients looking to improve metabolic health, manage weight, support fertility, address hormonal concerns or simply optimise their long-term wellbeing through sustainable lifestyle changes.

A Compassionate, Individual Approach

We understand that nutrition is personal.

Many people have spent years trying different diets, feeling confused by conflicting advice or struggling with their relationship with food. Our approach is never about blame, restriction or perfection.

Instead, we take time to understand your health, your lifestyle and your goals before developing a practical plan that works for you.

Every recommendation is realistic, evidence-based and designed to fit into everyday life.
