Dr Lowri Bailey
MBChB, MRCPCH, MRCGP, PGCE (GP Educator)Dr Bailey is a highly experienced General Practitioner with the expertise and confidence to manage the full spectrum of presentations in primary care. She is passionate about her work and particularly values building long-term relationships with her patients, offering a friendly, compassionate, and holistic approach to care.
With a background in paediatrics, Dr Bailey has a special interest in supporting families and guiding children’s health and development from birth through to adulthood. She also has a specialist interest in menopause care and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), including testosterone prescribing. She has completed training in menopause care and HRT prescribing with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
In addition, Dr Bailey is passionate about lifestyle and preventative medicine. She offers consultations focused on assessing health risks and working collaboratively with patients to optimise their long-term wellbeing.
Dr Bailey qualified as a doctor from the University of Manchester in 1999. She initially worked in paediatrics and gained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics. In 2005, she qualified as a GP and later became a GP Partner in a busy practice in Balham, where she worked for 10 years. She is also a qualified GP educator and trainer and has been working as a Private GP since 2018.
Dr Bailey has received numerous outstanding patient reviews and has been recognised in the top 10% of healthcare professionals on Doctify, earning the Outstanding Patient Experience Badge in 2025.
She lives locally and, outside of work, enjoys spending time with her three children, painting, and running with her dog.
